Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll pg. 147-154
The Mock Turtle starts talking about a Lobster-Quadrille, and Alice asks what kind of a dance that is. The Gryphon says you line up along the seashore and you dance with a lobster. The turtle and the Gryphon continue to tell Alice the rules of the dance but she gets very confused. They then decide to show Alice the dance, so they dance around her and sing. Alice listens carefully to the song the Mock Turtle is singing along with the dance. Alice says that she has seen lobsters frequently at dinner with crumbs around them. The turtle goes to sleep while Alice and the Gryphon start talking about shoes. The Gryphon explains to Alice way shoes are made of in the ocean.
