After everyone had scattered, Alice sees the white rabbit again and he seems more frantic than usual. Alice thinks he is searching for the white gloves and fan and figures she should look for them too, but then she noticed that the hall she was in looks nothing like it did before. The rabbit starts to think that Alice is the maid and he keeps yelling at her to get the gloves and the fan. But, then Alice finds a bottle that says "Drink me", so she does. She keeps growing and growing until she barely has enough room to fit in the house. Alice starts to miss her cat and she wonders if she should have ever went down the rabbit hole. She always dreamed of being in a fairtale, but now all she wants to do is go home. All of a sudden the white rabbit comes in and is furious that Alice is about to break his house.

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Pg. 33-41
Alice runs into a group of birds, who are all wet from the flooding. They then decide the best way to dry off would be to have a Caucus race. The Dodo bird marks the track in a circle then everyone starts running. After the race, they decide that all of them have won so they turn to Alice for a prize. Alice doesn't know what to do, so she just reaches into her pocket and finds a box of comfits, which she then gives one to each bird and the mouse. But one of the birds says that Alice has to have a prize, so she again reaches into her pocket and finds a thimble. Alice begins to miss her cat, Dinah, and starts to talk about him. She starts to describe how he eats mice, but then the mouse walks away from the conversation. She notices this and tries to apologize, but the mouse keeps walking and shakes his head.

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Pg. 19-32
When the rabbit runs by Alice, he leaves white gloves and a fan. Alice starts talking to herself again, and while she was doing this, she was fanning herself. The fan was making Alice smaller and smaller until she was swimming in her own tears. She then meets a mouse also swimming in her tears, and tries to talk to the mouse but it doesn't seem to understand her. But it turns out that the mouse does understand her, so Alice and the mouse swim ashore and meet other animals that speak English. There is an eaglet, a dodo, a duck, and a Lory. The mouse starts talking about English politics and the other animals seem to understand the mouse and they ask questions. Alice doesn't understand how these animals can be talking English English to each other and how they know so much.
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Pg. 1-19
One minute, Alice is bored listening to her sister read a book, and the next she is falling down a never ending rabbit hole. It all started when Alice saw a white rabbit scurry by her and down a rabbit hole. Curious she followed the rabbit and fell down the hole for, what seemed like, forever. But then the rabbit hole suddenly comes to and end, and she finds herself in a hallway full of doors. Alice tries to open all the doors, but they're locked. Out of nowhere, a table appears with a golden key on it. The key seems to small for all the locks on the doors, but then she pulls back a curtain and sees a small door. She opens it but Alice is too big the fit through the door.
